Philip's Footprints
Founded on 1 July 2008, Philip's Footprints offers support to parents who have lost a baby, through memory boxes, remembrance services and peer support.
We also believe strongly in the important of investing antenatally - through high quality training, equipment and information for pregnant women about safer pregnancies; improving outcomes for Jersey babies.
Since 2008, we have distributed nearly 350 memory boxes, funded over 409 training places for maternity health professionals for bereavement care and towards safer pregnancies (£40,000) and put £119,000 towards antenatal equipment and £3,500 to bereavement equipment.
Each year, we support approximately 20 families who lose a baby, pay for 2 training courses in Jersey for a total of 70-80 people, at a cost of £10,000.
We do not get any States funding and rely on donations, grants and sponsorship to continue. Please help us to continue supporting Jersey families, if you can hep in any way please do get in touch with Jo at jo@philipsfootprints.org tel 631173 or 07797 844336.
Thank you one and all - we couldn't have got this far without you!
